We had set out to film the world’s first single-take short film during a total solar eclipse. A unique, almost impossible task. It had never been done before. It would push our creative and technical knowledge to the limit. Our mission to shoot this project was encapsulated by another goal. On our way, we used the changing landscape of our journey, with its ebbs and flows of emotion, to fuel a companion piece equally as ambitious. This piece would find its root in the fear, frustration, and finally joy elicited by our mission. It was influenced by the open road and the ever changing world around us which pushed and pulled us onwards. This project is Search.
